Good Homes Needed for Social Media Apprentices!

The Social Media Academy are working in partnership with Colleges in the Black Country, delivering an apprenticeship in Social Media.  As a result of our work with Job Centre Plus we currently have more young people than employers and are looking for local employers to help.

Could you offer employment to a young person in return for an innovative and enthusiastic approach to your social media strategy?  As an employer on our scheme, you would benefit from a free of charge social media audit and guidance on how to leverage new business opportunities from platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.  We'd also be pleased to welcome you on our social media training courses at discounted rates.

The young people we have pre-screened have a natural and innovative flair for using social media.  During their apprenticeship, that flair would be shaped and harnessed by us and the College to create a truly digital citizen with an understanding of (amongst other subjects) the importance of on-line brand promotion and protection, commercialising your on-line space and driving in-bound marketing opportunities, analytics and reach and how to create, promote and post high quality content.

To find out how you can get involved, please contact either Amanda Smallman, our Director for Education & Training or Sheryl Caswell, our Head of Training as follows:
