We are looking for businesses in the Black Country who want to leverage the opportunity to benefit from a social media apprentice working on their social media presence and achieve their business goals. Working with local Colleges, The Social Media Academy is able to offer a superb opportunity to develop your on-line presence by harnessing the talent of local young people.
Using our innovative blended learning delivery model, apprentices are based with you for five days a week, dialling into our virtual classroom weekly for lectures and assignments. Their intuitive approach to Social Media will be refined by us to maximise your on-line reach, protect and promote your brand and gain new business whilst maintaining the interest of your current customers.
Subject to eligibility, funding is available to help meet the cost of wages, however places are limited so please contact us as soon as possible.
Employers will be offered an incentive payment to recruit a young people as an apprentice;
- £3,000 for employers taking on a young person aged 16 or 17 at a rate of £3.00 per hour
- £4,500 for employers taking on a young person aged 18 to 20 at a rate of £4.98 per hour
- £6,000 for employers taking on a young person aged 21 to 24 at a rate of £6.19 per hour
The employer will offer the young apprentice a minimum employment contract of 35 hours per week for at least 12 months and adhere to the agreed minimum hourly rates. They will also commit to employing the young apprentice for the full duration of the apprenticeship which could last from 1 year to 4 years. The incentives will be reduced by £1500 to employers who are eligible to claim the National Apprenticeship Service AGE grant. Flexibility is a key component to the success of the scheme.
